THE REED DIMPLER

Built because “good enough” ain’t good enough.

Double reeds need a gap to breathe. That little bit of separation is what lets the top reed flutter and come alive. Problem is, there’s never really been a clean, repeatable way to put that dimple in a reed. Most call makers have been left rigging something up at the bench with a nail, punch, or whatever else happened to be laying around.

So we built one.

The Redneck Reaper Reed Dimpler gives you a fast, simple way to put a consistent dimple exactly where you want it. Slide the reed into the slot, use the built-in gauge lines to help position it, and press. That’s it.

The dimple point is designed to form the reed without puncturing through it, creating the separation needed when that reed is stacked over the second reed of a double-reed setup.

Built from tough ABS-like resin and resin printed right here in the Redneck Reaper shop.

Reeds wider than 0.525" will not fit.

No nails. No homemade punches. No eyeballing some bench-top contraption.
